Founded in 1994, Jotinha was called Malutrom, as a result of the union of two traditional Curitiba families: Malucelli and Trombini.
In 2000, the then Malutrom was nationally recognized through its participation in the green and white module of the Brazilian championship, it's main title to date.
In 2009, through a partnership that had never been seen in the history of Brazilian soccer, Corinthians Paulista granted the rights for JMalucelli Futebol to develop a uniform similar to theirs, with the same colors, and JMalucelli then became known as Corinthians Paranaense. The experience lasted for three years and resulted in a vice-championship in 2009 and the revelation of the athlete Jucilei, who later played for Corinthians Paulista, made it to the Brazilian soccer team and was then sold to a Russian soccer team.
In order to strengthen the JMalucelli institutional brand, the club changed its name to JMalucelli Futebol, in 2013.
